Hello from Pastor Ken's Loft!
Today is a good day to 'shelter at home' around a fireplace!

'I don't know if you can see it but it's a nest. Every year a robin puts a nest in my wreath by my front door. I just put it up and she's already started her nest. Usually I'm annoyed because I don't want to mess with the bird poop. lol. But this year I look at it in a whole different way. That every year spring comes after winter. And that is a way of remembering that God is faithful that after a dead winter spring always comes, the birds come back and the beautiful flowers bloom and the warm air comes back.
So today it just reminded me that although this is a dark time, God is faithful and the sun will shine again. And Matthew 6:26-27, Jesus says, "Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in Barns, And yet your heavenly father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" I thought of that scripture today when I saw that little nest and I heard the birds chirping, that God cares for us so much more than the birds and he is here with us now and he will carry us through and this will pass! And we will be stronger and better when this is over.
I just thought I'd share that with you and try to encourage you that God is still here and he is still in control and if he takes care of the birds, he's going to take way better care of us!'
