The Manteno churches come together to host this annual event where a cross is carried through our community to different churches. At each of the stops, a portion of the Easter story is read and a song is sung. This year, the walk begins at the United Methodist Church, 255 W. Second St. It will conclude at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 207 S. Main, with a light meal of soup served after the message. Contact the church office, if you would like more information.
