On Good Friday, the Manteno churches will participate in this annual event where a cross is carried through our community. At each of the stops, a portion of the Easter story is read. If you are unable to walk you may drive to each of the locations. If you are driving, for safety, we ask that you DO NOT follow the group walking. Please drive on to the next location and wait there. The walk will begin at our church and end at the Presbyterian church where a light lunch of soup and bread will be served.
