Community Garden Meeting - 5:30pm |
|||
Spring is ramping up and it's time to get gardening. The Community Garden Ministry aims to help provide fruits and vegetables for those in need. The fruits and vegetables are grown in the Manteno Church of the Nazarene garden, as well as in the backyards of members of the group. The gardens are planted and maintained by members of the group. To be a member all that you need is an interest in helping out in some way. Typically families with space in their backyard will opt for maintaining a garden in their own backyard for convenience. But many of our group members prefer to help maintain the church garden. There will be an introductory meeting April 17th at 5:30pm in the McCormick Center. |
