Welcome

"ServantSightings"

Have you spotted someone being the hands and feet of Jesus? Send us a note under "contact us" and tell us the story! We'll post it here as we hear about your "ServantSightings!"

We've spotted some ServantSightings!

On Saturday, June 16th, our first Naz Serves project was begun to help Don and Donna move into their home here in Manteno. Our church family responded with buckets of cleaning supplies, paint, and toolboxes! Several people contributed hours of time through the following week to help get this family into their home in record time! What a team!!! It took many people to accomplish this task in such a short time but the good people of Manteno Nazarene have responded with HEART! Neighbors were peeking out their windows to see what all was going on! Passersby stopped to ask questions and were readily told that everyone was from Manteno Nazarene church! It was quite a witness to that neighborhood! Even better, some of our church people got to know each other a little better through the project! Don & Donna are so grateful for all that has been done on their behalf. Thank you to Cheryl, Dianne, Teddie, Connie, Matt, Amy, Dale, Haley, Preston, Caden, Phil, Rachel, Dan, Carl, Pastor Jack, Marian, Tim, Ian, Haley, Tom, Laura, Scott, Pastor Aaron, Jim, Nancy, Bruce, Kristin, and John for your servant hearts!

Two families partnered together to host a neighborhood easter egg hunt in their neighborhood! God blessed their efforts, bringing 23+ kids and their parents to the hunt where they had the opportunity to share the message of Christ with them. We are excited for the ability to go back into that community throughout the year and minister to these families! Thank you to the Snorecks and McClearys for your servant heart and willingness to be obedient to the calling of Christ!

We have some fantastic Sunday school teachers. This past week for Palm Sunday Sunday school, our 3rd and 4th grade teachers, Brad and Renee, brought the Easter lesson to life in a whole new way! Their desire to teach kids the Word of God and raise them up in a strong foundation of Christ is evident in their position as Sunday school teachers. Thanks Brad and Renee for being the hands and feet of Jesus!
